Welcome to First Southern Baptist Church. 

 As a church which began in 1953, we are a fellowship of Christians who believe the Bible is the only source of authority for all matters of faith and practice.  The Word of God is precious.  It contains the very words of God.  Because it is His Word to us, it is vital that we read it, memorize it, meditate on it, and study it to discover its truths.

Our general purpose is found in Matthew 28:19-20.  As a body of believers, we encourage our members to go and make disciples, then we baptize those new disciples, and then, we begin teaching the disciples to obey everything Jesus commanded us.   

Our specific purpose

• To glorify God through worship.
• To communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ.
• To encourage love relationships between God and people, and among people.
• To encourage service to God through acts of service to people.
• To demonstrate Christ like concern for one anther, Great Falls, and the world.
